A short story about the importance of traditions that also embraces diverse sexualities and identities. Touching, cozy and beautifully illustrated—I am ready for many more stories about these characters!

I loved the art, the story—all of it! Such a delight. I want my very own tea dragon (so cute!) LGBT-friendly.

The Tea Dragon Society was such an enjoyable read with an inconspicuously diverse cast of characters! The story is totally charming and touches themes of friendship, duty, and the importance of preserving cultural traditions.

The Tea Dragon Society follows Greta throughout the course of a year as she learns about tea dragons from Hesekiel and Erik and makes friends with a mysterious girl named Minette.

The Tea Dragon Society is about pursuing your passions, respecting others, caring for each other and your pets! It's also about learning from the past and how things were made and possibly bringing that to your future.

This is the most adorable and cutest graphic novel I've read! The artwork is adorable and the color pallets amazing. It was short and sweet but made me feel like a kid again while reading it.

5 Stars - I recommend if you enjoy cute graphic novels.

A girl named Greta finds a lost tea dragon, and returns it to the tea shop. While there she meets the owners and learns about the mysterious world of tea dragons.

This book is just very cute. The art is adorable. The dragons are adorable. The characters are diverse and interesting. If you just want to read something happy and cute, I recommend this one. Perfectly appropriate for all ages.

I can't not add this to my favourites list and gush about how much I adore this graphic novel.

Looking for fantasy? Check. An adorable LGBT relationship that involves a partner in a wheelchair? Check. People of colour? Check. An absolutely enthralling story of friendship and love that literally makes you cry? Check. Stunning art? Check.

This book has EVERYTHING. It's whimsical, yet grounded in a story that resonated so much with me. It's about love and friendship and tradition and finding out who you are. It is beautiful, inside and out, and I highly encourage everyone to read it.

PS: my dog is 100% a peppermint tea dragon. Fully convinced.

In this book, children and adults alike believe in and uplift one another.

I also love the theme of preserving traditional crafts, passing them down to the next generation of enthusiasts who will carry them into the future. Also, the theme of recovering and healing from trauma and pain, with patience, time, kindness received from others, and kindness toward oneself.

This story is a quick read but don't let you think that being a slow read dampens the complexity of the story. It is a multilayered tale about friendship, love, and tradition. Everyone should read this book if they are looking for a pick me up! The illustrations are so beautiful they make me want to go get a tattoo of a tea dragon right now.

I think that the art style in this book is absolutely beautiful, while I admit that it wasn't the most ground breaking plot or anything it was absolutely adorable and just very wholesome and teaches acceptance. My son loved the whole thing. I can't wait to read the next one.

I love this book. The art style is beautiful, the characters are charming, and the world is a fantastical creation. The story does move quickly, but this is understandable as its target audience is younger readers. For those who want more information on the tea dragon species, there is a "handbook" in the back that is a great deep dive into the world that O'Neill has created. I feel like this is a book for all ages, for whoever enjoys themes of tradition and found family. I look forward to the sequel of this heartwarming tale!

Ok, so I want to start with saying this book is super cute. The art is done incredibly great, the storyline is somewhat alright but I think that it is too much of a children's book for me. I was so bored reading it but the characters are incredibly likable. Definitely would read again, especially on a rainy day with my nephews or nieces.

We love all the dragons and how the little kid learns what they love and learns to embrace it. It's our favourite book!
