Dementia is a general term for a decline in mental ability severe enough to interfere with daily . Alzheimer’s is a disease which attacks the brain and is the most common form of dementia.. These ‘Speaking from Experience’ video clips offer first-hand accounts from people who have been diagnosed with Early Stage Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias and people who care for someone with such a diagnosis. They discuss the impact it has had on their lives and the ways in which they manage its effects. Many of the participants featured here are patient/caregiver partners including Kathleen & Ken, Janet & Joel, Billie & Patricia and Bill & Laurel..
