I hated this comic when I first started reading it, but once I got a feel for the characters it was actually pretty good. I really hated the main character at first, but then you realize that she is actually kind of a loser and you gain some empathy for her.

The characters at first aren’t likeable, especially Snotgirl, but that ends up changing by the end of the volume. The artwork is saturated and beautiful. Some aspects of the plot in this first volume kept me on the edge of my toes.

Bright, eye-catching graphics are sure to grab your attention in Snotgirl, Volume 1 by the creator of the graphic novel, Scott Pilgrim. Both funny and gross, Snotgirl follows a young woman who is a very anxious, allergy prone fashion blogger who struggles with her friends and romantic relationships.

I'm not quite sure what to make of this. Is it satire? Is it serious? It's very girly and cutesy and then some Pretty Little Liars stuff goes down and then I'm not sure what's happening. So it's weird but not weird enough to stop me reading.
