From TKB Teen Vivian: This is a book written in verse. I like the excerpts from the trials in the book. It brings something special to it. Occasionally there would be a poem I didn't like, and I wished we heard more about the battle Joan of Arc was in. At some points I really didn't know if I liked it or what it was saying. All in all, I think the book itself wasn't really all that good or bad.

An interesting & informative novel in verse about Joan of Arc that recounts the days leading up to her death and what brought her to that point. I especially enjoyed the quotes from Joan's trial and the concrete poems.
