Great diversity book. A group of community like working on a park/garden each take a page revealing what makes them different & some facts about what their life looks like. Gave my 7 year old some extra facts so he's less likely to be surprised by sometime with one of these, he found it interesting but above my 4 year old's level. Written by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomeyer
Ex: kids who are diabetic, blind, wheelchair bound, autistic, have Tourettes, dyslexic, deaf,.

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes early in life and as a result, encourages children to embrace their differences. Just like plants, we may be different but our differences are what make us special and unique.

Since knowledge is power, you should never be afraid to ask people other questions. Featuring U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor and her life with diabetes, Sonia encourages the importance of asking people questions about other people and the world around them. By asking questions, we can better understand and cater to the needs of other people because, after all, all people are unique.

Such a great book to show acceptance for each of our differences, such as having diabetes, ADHD, autism, etc. I highly recommend it for all children.
