I just read The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption and Pee, and I find most amazing the impact that Silverman has had on modern political life. We all know the impact of her “Schlep out the Vote” campaign on Obama’s election, but I had never considered her role in the creation of Senator Al Franken. I wonder if she even considered that stabbing him the head with a pencil could have caused that minor nerve alteration that transformed him from a comic genius to a mediocre elected official. What makes this even more plausible is the fact that he doesn’t even remember the stabbing.
Thank you, Ms. Silverman, for standing up for pee.
