This book is a sequal and should be read after first reading Once a Spy. The general story is a creative take on the standard superspy who cannot fail by giving the spy Alheimer's disease and having his son get caught up in both taking care of his father as his memory worsens and having to learn to deal with the insane level of violence in his father's espionage world. You will not get it if you don't read the first book.
