Cornell writing the book is a substantial improvement over Morrison's earlier work, as Cornell is one of the better writers in the comics industry. This collection features three different arcs (a refreshing change from much of the industry, which seems to write towards six issue arcs, specifically for the trade paperback market) with different art teams; the White Knight story is the best of the lot, but Cornell has a good take on the characters throughout and the partnership of Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne. As has been said before, it's a shame DC decided to reboot the universe, rather than have Bruce and Dick continue to share the mantle of being Batman.
