A very refreshing take on healthy living, with an emphasis on being body-positive as opposed to focusing too much on reaching a non-existent 'ideal' weight. I highly recommend this book to everyone (girl or guy) who feels like exercise is only meant for the naturally athletic. Not true! Blank gives very straightforward advice on how to deal with negative body image, whether they are thoughts coming from within, or criticism from without. I especially would recommend this for younger folk who are particularly exposed to increasingly narrow definitions of what a healthy body 'should' look like. I definitely wish I had read this book when I was younger.
