This is a well-written suspense novel, but based upon the super-creepy premise of training a teenager to be a pscyopath. So many books in the YA category portray the heroine or hero (main character) as a sociopath or trained psychopath - - it is really disturbing. Maybe those articles which mirror the novel by Dean Koontz titled, "Relentless" should be perused quite closely? Five stars for the writing; one-half star for the premise of this book. (In the adult category we see the same thing with many of the novels by Thomas Perry, with the sociopathic killer more or less stumbles into it? And is heroically or sympathetically portrayed?)
