My main thought at the end of Volume 1 of this series was "wow, that was convoluted." Good news! Volume 2 is just as convoluted - perhaps more so. It's like the author looked at the huge yarnball of the first volume and said..."Hmmm....how can I add even more plot threads to this?" But somehow, it works better in this volume than the first. Maybe we've reached critical plot mass and the story's about to blast off? Anyway, I liked this volume and I'm looking forward to seeing where the story goes.
