Glad I watched. Saved me from wasting precious reading time on drivel. I'm not a fan of stream of altered-consciousness writing. I commend the film maker for capturing the consciousness of a troubled writer.
I had Kerouac's works on my to read list for quite some time. I thought this intro to his work would inspire me, but instead it just put me off. Much like having tortured myself with reading Hunter Thompson before watching, "Where the Buffalo Rome." (Let's get drunk but not screw...as in who could at that point).
