Overall an enjoyable read. I really liked "What Really Happened in Peru" and "Saving Raphael Santiago", they were funny and heart-warming. Other stories were a bit long and boring. I didn't like the order of the stories though - I wished they'd been done in the order of when the stories took place i.e. I don't go from reading a story set in the mid-2000's to a story set in the 70-80's and then back to the mid-2000's. I liked that although three different authors worked on this, two of whom are not the original creators, Magnus Bane seemed like the same Magnus Bane from The Mortal Instruments. However, the writing style was the same and even though that seems like a good thing, I felt like it was bad because I couldn't pick up on the writing styles of Brennan and Johnson. What's the point of three authors working on a book if it only sounds like it was written by one? The last story in this book "The Voicemail of Magnus Bane" is my absolute favourite - I'm dying of laughter here! If you can't bear to read the other stories, just read this one. It's short and hilarious - I particularly loved Isabelle in this one!
