The Possibility Dogs

What a Handful of "unadoptables" Taught Me About Service, Hope and Healing

Charleson does another good job describing how she found, saved, and trained Jake Piper, an "unadoptable" shelter dog that no one else wanted. As with her previous book about training Puzzle for search-and-rescue, the author reads this book herself and it is fun and fulfilling to listen to her. In this book, she's thinking about training a dog for psychiatric service, and under-served part of the disabled population. She interviews numerous people who need or have psych service dogs and by the publication of the book, she's started a nonprofit to help people who want to rescue and train their own service dogs. It's inspirational.
