Bridge of Spies
Bridge of Spies A True Story of the Cold War By Whittell, Giles Book - 2010

Having seen the film, there was much gained by reading the book which is a page turner in all respects. The author's style bears resemblance to Baldacci or Dan Brown with a machine-gun like style filled with suspense and intrigue; this is the REAL world of spies, deception and government lies. While reading about the events leading up to the construction of the Berlin wall I couldn't help but think of Trump and his desire to put a wall between the US and Mexico. There's so much to learn with this story from a humanity, historic and ideological perspective and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys rapid paced non-fiction.
