Like Love Story, if Jenny had wanted to kill herself and had a large estate to bequeath. The more I read the reviews, the more astonished I am that respectable publications like Publisher's Weekly and The New York Times are endorsing Me Before You. Maybe understanding people with disabilities is a problem, and they need more people like that on staff. But can they really not recognize a cliched story and corny characters? Look at the quotations in the NYT review, for instance. If you think they -- especially the one about the calloused man hands -- are examples of superb writing, I guess you'll like this book.
