How to Use My Life Story to Become the Best Joel McHale You Can Be
Nov 25, 2016Marlowe rated this title 2.5 out of 5 stars
I was on vacation in the US approx. 12yrs ago when I first discovered Joel McHale on The Soup. At the time, I thought The Soup was hilarious - it was new and fresh, and satisfying to hear someone tease celebrities and the new world of reality TV. Since then, I have always noticed McHale in acting role, and found his humor genuinely funny, which is why I decided to pick up this book. I was curious - would the book be funny? What kind of childhood created this dry, sarcastic man? The book reads fast, and has plenty of interesting personal stories and celebrity gossip. The latter half of the book is a bit forced, perhaps for length, but still worth the continued attention.
