Jingwen and his little brother Yanghao are perfect comedic foils for each other as they navigate a new life in Australia, struggling to learn English, fit in, and most importantly, not kill each other in the process! The humor in the illustrations depicting the frequently trivial sibling squabbles is hysterical. And through it all is interwoven more serious discussions of guilt over a father's death, retaliation against a struggling single mom, and a slow struggle to rebuild the family bonds that have long been broken. A very genuine, humorous read for preteens.
