This was my introduction to Romance, and my first dark romance. Whew! As you can tell from my rating, however, I didn't hate it. Aly is a dedicated, hard working nurse who has a bit of an interest in masked men content online. Fortunately for her, someone is watching back and is equally as interested. This is a quick and spicy read that will delight readers with a dark side.

Don't let the size of this book discourage you; it's a quick read! With fast paced action and nail-biting adventure, you won't be able to put this one down. Before this book, I hadn't bought a book in years. Due to the art and the incredible storytelling, I had to have it in my collection.

I really enjoyed the format of this book. It wasn't as term-laden as the original BoB and told the stories of men left out of the original. Also, if you wondered what Captain Sobel was really like, this is a good place to start.

This may be a "kids" film but my husband and I watch this at least once a year during the fall or winter. Why? Well, after we watch the movie, we're so inspired to cook that we end up going on culinary adventures in our own home. It's amazing, the recipes we've come up with!

Letterkenny is a short episode, ridiculous slice of life look at a small town in Canada. It may take a few episodes for you to get in on their jokes but once you do, you won't be able to stop quoting the characters. Figure it out...

This is a film that, even once you know the ending, is worth re-watching for everything you missed the first time. Overall, it's just a great story.

A young patron of mine recommended this book as a "dystopian must read". With such high praise, it was an impossible story to ignore. I personally suggest reading this one rather than listening to the audio book (for several reasons) but if you're taking a road trip with the kids, this book is exciting, and appropriate, for the whole family.

Keanu Reeves is the "it" guy of 2019 but, before he was John Wick, he won my heart as an LAPD officer put in an extraordinary situation. It's pretty 90's-tastic but I really think it's something you'll enjoy.

This book, based on one of my all time favorites failed to entertain me. It is a Junior Graphic Novel and I found it dull and the art, unappealing. Just read the true Classic. ;)

This book is intense. Like...really intense. I am a fan of horror/thriller stories and this one absolutely takes the cake when it comes to depravity. Enormous trigger warnings abound, this book was still an enthralling listen. The story held my attention in a fierce, terrifying, looking at a train-wreck and can't look away...way.

Warning: This book depicts acts of heinous violence, abuse, murder and torture. I do not recommend this book to anyone who is triggered by gore or any of the aforementioned topics. Really, people. This book is intense. I also couldn't put it down. It is a fascinating story with so many fever-dream like twists and turns that you're never sure which end is up.
